I understand that the average train driver’s salary on the line is £72,465 for a 34-hour, four-day week - which would have risen by £3,261 to £75,726 under the proposed 4.5%.

I'm not sure it'll attract too much public sympathy, and 4.5% is comfortably above CPI.

Is this dispute about more than money?

ASLEF have announced strike days for drivers working for Elizabeth Line

Dates announced so far are: 27th February, 1st March, 8th March and 10th March from 00:01 to 23:59.
